Dr. Salar Sefati
Dr. Salar SEFATI (Graduate Student Member, IEEE) received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in computer engineering (software) from the University of Tabriz, Tabriz, Iran, in 2018 and 2021, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in information technology from the Politehnica University of Bucharest, in 2024.
Dr. Sefati is a Visiting Professor with the Computer Engineering (Software) Department, Istinye University, Istanbul, Turkey. He has been a Visiting Researcher with Aarhus University, Denmark, and Sofia Tech Park, Bulgaria. He is a member of IEEE Young Professionals and develops innovative solutions for ultrareliable low-latency communications (URLLC) services on the Internet of Things (IoT). Additionally, he is a member of the MOTOR 5G Project, funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Program under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Grant.
Dr. Sefati has contributed more than 20 ISI papers as the first author in high-rank journals and prestigious conferences and has authored more than 35 papers in total. Currently, he is also involved in the EU Project "Arrowhead" as a researcher. His research interests include cloud and distributed computing, the Internet of Things, software-defined networking, information systems, computational intelligence, and evolutionary computing.
